The Best Breakfast At Walt Disney World

On our recent Staycation at Walt Disney World we decided to venture over to the Contemporary Hotel and eat breakfast at The Wave. We had heard from fellow YouTubers that this underrated restaurant has the best breakfast on Disney property. Allow us to clarify that statement a little bit. There are many choices for breakfast at Walt Disney World and those include Quick Service (grab-n-go), Table Service & Character Dining. The Wave fits into the Table Service category and for the purposes of our assessment we can only compare this restaurant to the same type.

The Wave is located just off the main lobby of the Contemporary Hotel in what was once a large video arcade (back in the 70's - early 90's). It is a nicely appointed dining room with a nice ambiance. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by an awesome Hostess named Maria who was friendly, informative and sweet. During the pandemic, Disney has moved everything to their My Disney Experience App and we were instructed to check-in for our reservation using our mobile phone. They even have a sign with a QR code that you can scan and it takes you directly to the check-in screen. Once we were checked in and seated, we were given a paper with another QR code that gives you the complete menu. It is offered in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.

The two signature items that brought us to eat at The Wave are their Sweet Potato Pancakes & Eggs Benedict with Crab Cake. Of course we had to order those dishes! After eating them we both agreed that this was in fact the best breakfast we have ever had at a Table Service restaurant on Walt Disney World Property!
